Mine is not quite as fancy as Kate's but I'm super happy with the results. I used a vintage strawberry crate. I live in the winter strawberry capital of the world so it's very appropriate. I also found half sized index cards! That's a thing! I couldn't believe it. Anyway, this project was really simple if a little time consuming. You stamp the date (without the year) on your card and file them away in your box. I used scrapbook paper for the monthly dividers. And that's it!
Here's how you use it: every day you write the year and record something special about the day. I'm so excited to use it for many years to come. It will be really neat to review what happened on the same day in years past, even if it wasn't anything momentous. Anyway, I'm rambling. This was an easy, quick and inexpensive project. I anticipate making these for friends and family this year for Christmas. Hooray!
Thanks for stopping by!
